Doncaster Cancer Detection Trust

We recently celebrated our 42nd Charter Dinner where we presented a cheque for £1,000 to DCDT. The Trust has two major fundraising projects ongoing. Work has started on a new CT scanning suite at the DRI to help with the early diagnosis of conditions such as cancer. A Biopsy Machine is also being purchased to improve diagnosis and treatment of Prostate Cancer.

Join us on the 16th May when members of our club will be taking part in a 6 mile walk from Doncaster Town Fields to Lakeside and back to raise funds for the DCDT. This is a dog friendly walk and although the full route is 6 miles, shorter routes are available and are suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs. Entry costs £6.00. If you are interested or simply wish to make a donation to Doncaster Cancer Detection Trust, please get in touch.
